I am sad. For Christmas my sister purchased an acrylic version of this L(8)tice-2. This evening while attempting to solve I had one piece to get in. I suspect I had done it out of order has the piece was difficult to get it into its location. I was attempting an insert and rotate into position as I suspect that’s how a few pieces are inserted. It was so close to fitting and I wasn’t sure if I had all the other pieces aligned correctly. I applied a little amount of force to it and 2 pieces snapped. I was hoping I could get the solution. I am going to super glue it together but am afraid that the two pieces will know be somewhat larger because of the glue, causing it to be unsolvable. Thank you! Excellent puzzle and clearly I wasn’t close if I managed to break a piece.
